Dr. Updike is interested in promoting women's health in both reproductive years and beyond.
In addition to providing annual well-woman examinations and routine obstetric care, she specializes in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception counseling, adolescent medicine, and minimally invasive surgery. She is skilled at both diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, advanced laparoscopy, urinary stress incontinence sling procedures and hysterectomy (abdominal, vaginal, and laparoscopic approaches).
Her goal is to make the patient comfortable at her visit and to educate her about medical conditions and her options for treatment whether medical or surgical.
